Every two years, California launches a new set of initiatives. The initiatives address the MPA’s Five Bold Goals to support older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. The MPA Implementation Tracker is a resource to follow the progress of the MPA Initiatives.

Governor Gavin Newsom issued Executive Order N-14-19 in June 2019. This Order called for the development of a state Master Plan for Aging (MPA). California partners worked together to launch the MPA in January 2021. The MPA reflects the state’s commitment to building a California for ALL ages and abilities.
